Kuan Xing, Ph.D.
Prior to coming to Iowa, Dr. Xing was Director of Assessment/Research in the Center for Healthcare Improvement and Patient Simulation and Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. At OCRME, he serves as an assessment/measurement consultant and quantitative methodologist.
Dr. Xing holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a Masters degree in Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment. His research interests include assessment methods in medical education, validity studies, simulation, and quantitative methodology. He has published in medical education and measurement journals such as Academic Medicine, Advances in Health Sciences Education, and Applied Psychological Measurement.
