Biography

Dr. Rosenbaum began working at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in June 1998, where she helped develop and co-directs several comprehensive faculty development programs. These include the UI Teaching Scholars Program, the Community Teaching Scholars program and the Internal Medicine Fellows as Clinician Educators (FACE) program, as well as providing numerous faculty development workshops throughout the College of Medicine. 

Her teaching interests include interactive lecturing, providing effective feedback, and clinical teaching and she has taught and conducted research on clinician-patient communication for more than 20 years. She helped spearhead a comprehensive, longitudinal curriculum in the College of Medicine spanning all 4 years of the curriculum along with providing faculty development training in communication skills teaching internationally.
